Dotti builds fair, balanced DOTT (Duty-Other-Than-Teaching) timetables for Australian primary schools in minutes. It's a constraint solver that truly understands the unique complexities of a primary school context.
Common DOTT you can see at a glance
Dotti returns one whole-school table showing every class, every block, with aligned cohorts colour-coded. You see exactly where a year group is released together, and where it isn't.
An interactive editor, not a locked-in result
Drag, swap, or set a lesson aside; lock what you're happy with and re-optimise everything else around it. You know things the solver can't.
A DOTT summary that stands up to scrutiny
One row per teacher: FTE, entitled minutes, what the timetable actually delivered, and the difference — surplus, spot on, or deficit. It updates as you edit and exports to Excel.
A clean timetable for every class
Each class gets its own weekly timetable: subject, teacher, and DOTT clearly marked, sessions kept whole, shared classes named. Read-only by design — the copy you hand to a teacher or pin on the wall.

How we build our products
Dotti isn't the architecture. Dotti is the first product built on an operating system we designed for one purpose: to resolve human pain points and make complex, tedious work feel simple.

Every build starts by turning a real-world problem into a clear, testable specification — before a line of code is written.

Every specification runs through an automated pipeline that plans, executes, and independently reviews the work, with human sign-off at each checkpoint.

A second system handles maintenance, fixes, and improvements — each through its own review. Nothing reaches the live product unreviewed.

I've always been drawn to complex problems. Educated as an aerospace engineer, I spent about 17 years solving high-stakes challenges as a drilling engineer. Then, at what I hopefully can call mid-life, I labelled myself solopreneur and stepped into the mysterious, but exciting world of AI. Excited to learn and put it to work.
The turning point was a conversation with the principal at my daughter's school. Suddenly I had a real problem, a clear goal, and the room to build the infrastructure to solve it. That's how Dotti was born. What matters most to me isn't the destination, but navigating real complexity on my own terms, and building solutions that reach many. I want to build more of them: tools that help people learn better and do more with AI — starting in my own community, and with my own kids.
AI has stirred plenty of debate, and rightly so — the right governance matters. But rather than step back, I like to step into the challenge. Transformations sharpen the focus and shape resilience. I bring the same long-game mindset from ultramarathons (Margaret River 80 km, Feral Pig 100 km) and thru-hiking (1,300 km across New Zealand's South Island) to everything I build. My mission is simple: to help solve the problems that shouldn't be anyone's problem.
